Bankruptcy Clinic Students at the University of Minnesota Law School provide pro bono services to individuals in serious financial difficulty contemplating filing for bankruptcy and to individuals otherwise involved in a bankruptcy case. During a two-semester clinic course co-taught by Clinton Cutler and James Brand, law school students represent a spectrum of clients including potential debtors, debtors seeking a hardship discharge of student loans, debtor-defendants in adversary proceedings, and sometimes individual creditors. People needing assistance can contact the Clinic Office at the University of Minnesota Law School by telephone at 612/625-5515. Lawyers may also refer people requiring pro bono assistance to the Clinic Office. -Content reviewed weekly | Contact Editor-
